2 months old

Elijah is now 2 months old. He is starting to smile a lot more especially when he sees mommy. I try to take his photo when he smiles but I'm always a second or two late. He is growing and I'm in denial that some of his onesies don't fit anymore. It is so sad. Well, he is still cute and we love him.

Anne Reynolds Visit to Utah

Adrian's mother Anne stayed with us for a week and we were able to do many wonderful things together. I took Anne to a Relief Society activity and we also were able to do a temple session at Jordan River. It poured when we left the temple so she wasn't able to take a picture. So, I took her later that day to take a photo at Jordan River and Draper Temples. We also were able to go to Thanksgiving Point so Anne could visit with her friend Wendy. We also took Anne downtown to see the Salt Lake City Temple and to visit with some friends. Overall, it was a very nice visit. We enjoyed having Anne in our home. Thank you so much for visiting. Hopefully, it won't be too long before we see you again. Love to you.

6th Anniversary

We celebrated our 6th Anniversary on August 17th. We went to Last Samurai for lunch while Adrian's mother watched Elijah. We had a nice time together but I think we both missed Eli. Thanks Anne for watching Elijah while we were able to spend some time together. Anne also bought us the two Willow statues above which symbolizes our new family. We love them! Thanks again.

Baby Announcement

Here is our baby announcement. My sister Cassie let me borrow her photo shop program. She also took these photos. She is very talented. Anyway, I think it turned out perfect. Thanks Cassie for helping me do Elijah's baby announcement.

1st smile

Elijah has been smiling since the beginning of August but I haven't had a chance to capture it on camera. Finally, I was able to take a photo of his cute smile. He is so cute! He also finally smiled at daddy. Of course, I was the first to see his darling smile. I love being his mommy!

Elijah's Baby Blessing

Elijah's baby blessing was on Sunday August 15th in our home. It was such a special day for us. The blessing was so sweet and Adrian did a wonderful job. I love him so much! Many family members including my parents, Jason & Emily, Josh & Cassie, Eddy & Tiffany, Grandma Grant and Adrian's mother Anne attended the special event. Also, Bishop Richardson came and asked Adrian and I to bear our testimonies after the blessing. It was such a spiritual moment and I appreciated the opportunity to bear my testimony to my family members. Thank you to all who came to support us.

After the blessing, we all went to the Roberts to have lunch. The relief society brought us fruit trays, rolls and desserts so the meal was pretty much provided. My mom made a couple of chicken salads which were delicious. Thanks again to all who helped out to make our day special. I really do appreciate it.

Elijah's room decor

Last week, Cassie helped me decorate Elijah's baby room. We added some frames and a shelf to his room. I love his room. It is probably my favorite room in our house. Thanks Cassie for helping me out.

1 month old

Elijah is now a month old. I can't believe it! He has learned a lot so far. He can hold his head up, grab my shirt, focus on my face, respond to noises and is starting to smile. He is such an adorable baby. I love him so much!

Photo Shoot

Elijah had his first photo shoot on July 14th. My sister Cassie is a very talented photographer and agreed to take his photos. It wasn't too hard to convince her to do the job. Who would pass up an opportunity to take cute baby pictures? She also took my pregnancy photos. I love how Elijah's photos turned out. He is the cutest baby ever and was perfect the whole time. Thanks Cassie for taking the time to do a photo shoot for us. I really do appreciate it.
