Another dog story...

So, I went walking with Emily last Saturday and to our surprise we had a visitor follow us. This golden retriever found his way out of his cage and started following us on our walk. He was very happy to be "free" and just wanted to play. We didn't know who he belonged to so we kept walking. Well, he made it to 106th, looked both ways and ran across the busy street. I felt awful! We couldn't just leave him to wander so I ran (with my heavy belly) across the street and tried to get him to come to me. He decided to go out in the road and onto 13th East. Yikes! There were many cars honking and letting others know a dog was loose. These people probably thought this dog was mine and I was a horrible owner (which wasn't true at all). So finally Max came to me and I didn't let go of his collar. Oh boy! He walked faster than me. We took him to Emily's and tried to call the number on his collar. We actually found out he belonged to a ward member so I got in touch and let them know we had their dog. We tried to get the dog in the car so we could drive him back to his home but he refused. How does a dog refuse to go on a joy ride in the car? Well, he was pretty smart. I guess he wasn't done with his walk so we took him back to his home. That was one exciting adventure! At least it was good practice for the mother's to be.

Crafty Reynolds

We found a great bargain for a tv stand at Wal-mart so we went for it. Adrian brought this tv stand into the marriage and it has lasted us almost six years. Time for a new one...

Before

After

Wow! What a difference a new tv stand can make. It looks so much cleaner and I can't stop starring at the beautiful piece of furniture. My wonderful husband used his skills to build us our new tv stand. Of course it came in a box and there were instructions but I was still proud of him. I helped a little but he handled most of it by himself and it only took about two hours to complete. Way to go Adrian!

Here is a hand knitted sweater I made for myself. It took me several months to make so I'm glad it is completed. I'll probably wear it for St Patrick's day. Won't I look so cute? Well, it is probably my first and last sweater I'll make in my life time. At least, I completed it before the baby arrived. Arn't we crafty?

Free lunch

Today I received a coupon from Del Taco for 2 free soft tacos. I signed up for their eclub last week. So I drove to Del Taco to score my free lunch. Yummy! It was delicious. It would have cost $1.98 but I scored it for free. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but we are trying to save for baby Reynolds so it was perfect. I also asked for a cup of water which was also free. Not too bad for just signing up for their emails. I love free stuff!

Here are a few photos of me during my 20th and 21st week of being pregnant. Arn't I cute? I'm growing quite a lot now and my back aches are definitely the result. Yuck! Just 4 more months left. Yikes! Can I make it? I sure hope so.
