Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was at the Roberts home this year. We had a wonderful dinner. We also took a family photo and had the annual Christmas program. Some of the children played the piano and violin. Also, the children performed the Nativity and of course Eli was Jesus. Elijah got to meet Tayvlee (Ryan and Ashley's second child). It was so fun to be with family. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Downtown SLC

On December 23rd, Adrian, Elijah, Anne and I went with the Roberts and my parents to see the SLC lights. We stopped at California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and it was Eli's first time at a restaurant. We all bundled up and saw the lights. Well, most of us. I was too busy feeding Eli. It sure was fun to have Nan and Grandma and Grandpa. We loved your company. Thanks for flying out to see us. Merry Christmas!

Carl Bloch-The Master's Hand

If you live in Utah and haven't been to BYU's Musuem of Art to see Carl Bloch's The Master's Hand exhibit then go soon. It was amazing! I went with Emily Fuller last minute (and I mean last minute). She called me at about 8 in the morning and I had just finished feeding Eli. I had about 30 minutes to get ready. Yikes! But, we made it and had a fabulous time.

The exhibit was pretty amazing. Go HERE to see the website. I'm sure you will recognize some of his work. I may go again next week. There were also five large alterpieces. Four of them came from churches in Denmark and Swedan.

Thanks Emily for the wonderful experience. Until our next adventure...

Christmas with Santa

Last week I went with Cassie and Claire to see Santa. It was actually nap and feeding time so I was impressed that Elijah looked straight at the camera without any problems. Doesn't he look adorable? I couldn't resist dressing him up in his santa outfit. So cute! I can't wait till we get a dog. I will definitely bring our dog to see Santa next year and I'll probably dress him/her up. Merry Christmas!

5 months old

Elijah is now 5 months old. Wow! Time sure goes fast. His favorite thing to do is suck on his two fingers. I think it is a comfort thing or he could be teething. He is still a cute boy and I am so grateful to be home with him everyday.

Christmas came early for Eli...

Yes, Christmas came early for Elijah. We ordered a jumperoo and it arrived early so I put it together. I think he likes it but I believe Adrian has more fun. The music is fantastic!
