Amazing talent

My co-worker Debra is super talented! She made me an amazing blanket for baby Reynolds. The colors are bright and the details are unbelievable. I couldn't believe how much time and effort she went through for me. I felt loved! Thank you so much Debra! You are amazing and I will treasure the blanket for a long time.

Surprise Baby Shower at Work

Last Friday my co-workers surprised me with a baby shower. It was awesome! The decorations were amazing and I loved the yummy dessert that Mindy made. I received a lot of wonderful gifts. My favorite was the England t-shirt. So cute! Later, I showed Adrian all of the presents and took pictures. I truly felt special that day. Thank you so much everyone! I appreciate all that you did for us.

35 Weeks

Here is a photo of me at 35 weeks. I'm now at 37 so I'm a little behind. I'm getting closer...

Travel System

Last Saturday we bought the Chicco travel system. It includes a stroller and car seat . The car seat cover was made by my sister n' law Emily and it totally matches. I love it! I'm looking forward to going on walks with our son. I only have about 5 1/2 weeks left. Wahoo!

Couple walks

Since the weather has been awesome, Adrian and I have been going on walks around our neighborhood. Here are a few of the beautiful surroundings of our neighborhood including Adrian. Isn't he cute or what?

Memorial Day

On Memorial day, we went hiking to Stewart Falls with the Roberts and Lytles. It was one exhausting day! The hike is about 2 1/2 hours. It was harder on the way back but I managed to keep going. There were actually a lot of pregnant women so it was awesome to be one of them. Overall, the weather was perfect and it was nice to spend time with family.

Painting the baby's room

We spent our last two Saturdays painting our son's room. It was one tough project but we managed to finish which is huge for the Reynolds family. We hardly ever work on our house. For example: we have had a shelf in our laundry room for a year now and it hasn't been hung. I'm still waiting for Adrian to use his manly skills and hang the shelf so I could actually have more work space. I guess that project will have to wait. At least we painted. I think the main inspiration came from watching way too much HGTV. Well, it paid off because now we have a beautiful baby blue room. BTW the cradle is in our room at the moment. Once we get a crib, it will be against the wall by the rug. I'll post pictures at that time. I still need to hang pictures so I'm hoping my sister can help me out with that project.

What in the world are kankles?

Well, if you are pregnant, you should know what kankles are. It is when your feet swell up and your ankles disappear. I had kankles for two days and was quite disgusted with my feet. However, the swelling went down and my feet are back to normal. Yippee! I hope it doesn't happen again. At least I can rest and put my feet up if I do have kankles again.

The magic eraser

If you have stainless steel appliances, you will definitely want to get a Mr Clean magic eraser. I can now swear by it. Our microwave and oven have been bugging me for so long since I had no idea how to clean it. I didn't want to ruin it so I didn't bother to clean it. Oh and I hate deep cleaning especially since I have a job and don't have the extra time to spend on cleaning. I know I'm a terrible house wife but I'd rather have a maid clean than spend my extra time doing the dirty work.

Well, one day Adrian suggested that we buy a magic eraser. There are only two white sponges in a box but they work perfectly. All you do is soak in the sponge in water, ring out the water, scrub the surface and viola you have a clean kitchen appliance. It really is magic and I love it. I highly recommend that you buy one. It is awesome!
