Weekend with Jessica

Jason and Emily asked us to take care of Jessica while they ran the Wasatch run. She was adorable especially when she was smiling. It was an eye opener to me and it brought us together as a couple. She went to bed around 9:30 and woke up around 1am. We put her back to sleep and then she woke up around 6am. We wanted some extra sleep so we let her sleep in our bed with us. That lasted an hour and then it was time to wake up. In the morning, she was a little irritable and I think she was really hungry so we fed her two bottles. Overall, it was a really good experience. If you are thinking about having a baby, I suggest you take care of a baby so you will get an idea on how hard it really is. I am looking forward to having children with Adrian. He will make an adorable daddy.

Our roses are blossoming

Here is an update of our beautiful rose bush outside our home. It seems that our roses have blossomed over night. We also have a tiny flower garden. I love the spring. Someday I'll have moy own flower garden and I'll get to learn how to take care of it.

2008 NBA Finals

The 2008 NBA finals have come to a close as the Boston Celtics take over the LA Lakers. I was a little disappointed that my team didn't pull through. However, after watching last nights game, I knew the Celtics deserved it. Wow! What a game! They were a little "outofcontrol" with all of their three pointer shots. I'm glad they won! They worked so hard. Don't get me wrong, I like the LA Lakers and really wanted them to win overall. However, I think the Boston Celtics played really well together as a team. They were so happy that it brought tears to my eyes. I love people who accomplish their goals. Way to go Boston Celtics!

Salt Lake Bee's Game

I went to the Salt Lake Bee's game on June 14th to celebrate Flag day. I went with Laura and Rusty and another couple. I had a blast except my better half wasn't there to enjoy it with me. He was actually in New York City. His flight was six hours delayed so he was not a happy camper. After the Salt Lake Bee's beat the Las Vegas 51's 6-4, we watched an incredible firework show. It had to be one of the top firework shows I've ever seen. Oh by the way, I didn't take this photo since Adrian had my digital camera. I used my old school camera but the employees from Wallgreens said that the film was empty. I probably lost all of my pictures. I'll post more pictures if they turn out. Anyway, thanks for inviting me Laura and Rusty! I had a fun time.

A fun day in the sun

Teresa and I went rollerblading and kayaking in Liberty Park last Saturday. Our husbands were out of town so we had a girls day out. There was a free kayak demo that we took advantage of. We had a blast! Afterwards, we went to Hard Rock Cafe and I think we both drank way too much strawberry lemonade. It sure was good! Then we took TRAC's to the gateway to see the chalk art festival. There were some incredible artists. Overall, we had a wonderful day out in the sun. Thanks for going with me Teresa!

New York City

Adrian went to New York City without me. Well, he did need to work the whole time but he did get to walk around and take some cool photos for me. He said that it was a very dirty and smelly place especially China Town. He said that the streets were narrow and there were a ton of people. He also mentioned that there were a ton of cops. He said that London is a much better place. I still wouldn't mind going to New York to shop, see a musical and see the Statue of Liberty. In addition, his flight was delayed for six hours and I only got to see him for a few hours before he flew to San Jose. Well, I am looking forward to his return. Hope you enjoy the photos Adrian took. He is a great photographer!
