What we have been up to...

Well, on Friday we went to a wedding reception for Lauren and Benjamin. They decided to have a photo booth and an ice cream social for their reception. It was different but who doesn't like a photo booth? I know Adrian doesn't but I made him do it. The first photo looks like we just met (that was our warm up photo) then we got a little goofy.

We also ran 10 miles on Saturday. I am one sore woman! There is only three more weeks till the 1/2 marathon. Whew! I know we can do it.

Also, we saw the new Harry Potter film. I read the book a few weeks ago to refresh my memory and I thought the movie was fantastic. I didn't really like the ending. It was sort of lame. They also cut out a lot of important parts of the book. Well, at least the seventh book will be made into two movies. Overall, it wasn't too bad. Very enjoyable!

Well, that is the update from the Reynolds. What have you been up to?

Park City

Adrian and I had a fabulous time with our friends Emily and Jordan Fuller. We decided to drive up to Park city for the day. Thanks to the Fullers, we were able to go on the zip line and alpine slide for free. They volunteered one time and received free tickets. I love free stuff! So, we had a great time with the Fullers. They are amazing people. After wards, we ate at Cafe Rio. Yummy! Then we went to the outlets and spent quite a long time in the stores. It was awesome! We also went to stores we normally don't go into. Also, the pound is still there so Adrian was excited. Last time we went to Park city the pound had moved but we didn't know where it had moved to. This time we found it so that was fun to see the dogs. I'm not so keen on cats. Yuck! Thanks Emily and Jordan for a fun time. We will have to get together again and have another adventure.

Congrats Adrian!

Adrian found out last week that he got promoted to Senior Associate. The promotion doesn't take in effect till September, however this weekend we celebrated. Of course to celebrate, we went shopping since we love shopping. It is such a thrill to us! Congratulations on your promotion Adrian. I love you! Way to go!

His and Her I-Pods

Our Best Buy gift cards arrived on Friday night so it was off to the store to make our big purchase. Thanks to PWC and my lovely parents we were able to buy two I-pods. We spent about $36 of our own money so it was well worth the wait. Adrian gets points for dentist or doctor trips as well as for exercising. PWC is very concerned for its employee's health care. I love PWC! Adrian wanted a Nike arm band and I went for the pink breast cancer arm band (it is for a great cause). Now, running won't be as hard without the music. We tested it out this morning and it was awesome. I love my new I-pod. So fun! Now, I just need to add more music.

Oh the love of running

Ew gross! Yes, these are my lovely running shoes, but they weren't so lovely today. Adrian and I went running with Emily Fuller this morning. It was our six mile run today and I was determined to finish. At about our fourth mile, I looked down and my shoe was covered in blood. Emily and I decided to stop and take a look at my foot. There was a tiny cut on one of my toes. Lame! Luckily there was a medical center so I could get a bandaid and be on my way. Well, Emily wouldn't let me run the rest of the way so we walked. Adrian had left us about mile three since we were going too slow and it started to rain. He had no idea what was going on with us. He did jump in his car and try to search for us. Oh, the love that he has for me. Well, we finished even though we didn't run the entire thing but we finished. Yay for us.

Cuddly Teddy Bear

I decided that I wanted to try a new knitting pattern so I made this cute cuddly teddy bear. I think it turned out great. I had a little bit of help thanks to Verla from the Unraveled Sheep knitting store. Moreover, I'm going to try knitting a second one since I have leftover yarn and I want to try to make it better than the first.
