6th Anniversary

We celebrated our 6th Anniversary on August 17th. We went to Last Samurai for lunch while Adrian's mother watched Elijah. We had a nice time together but I think we both missed Eli. Thanks Anne for watching Elijah while we were able to spend some time together. Anne also bought us the two Willow statues above which symbolizes our new family. We love them! Thanks again.

Baby Announcement

Here is our baby announcement. My sister Cassie let me borrow her photo shop program. She also took these photos. She is very talented. Anyway, I think it turned out perfect. Thanks Cassie for helping me do Elijah's baby announcement.

1st smile

Elijah has been smiling since the beginning of August but I haven't had a chance to capture it on camera. Finally, I was able to take a photo of his cute smile. He is so cute! He also finally smiled at daddy. Of course, I was the first to see his darling smile. I love being his mommy!

Elijah's Baby Blessing

Elijah's baby blessing was on Sunday August 15th in our home. It was such a special day for us. The blessing was so sweet and Adrian did a wonderful job. I love him so much! Many family members including my parents, Jason & Emily, Josh & Cassie, Eddy & Tiffany, Grandma Grant and Adrian's mother Anne attended the special event. Also, Bishop Richardson came and asked Adrian and I to bear our testimonies after the blessing. It was such a spiritual moment and I appreciated the opportunity to bear my testimony to my family members. Thank you to all who came to support us.

After the blessing, we all went to the Roberts to have lunch. The relief society brought us fruit trays, rolls and desserts so the meal was pretty much provided. My mom made a couple of chicken salads which were delicious. Thanks again to all who helped out to make our day special. I really do appreciate it.

Elijah's room decor

Last week, Cassie helped me decorate Elijah's baby room. We added some frames and a shelf to his room. I love his room. It is probably my favorite room in our house. Thanks Cassie for helping me out.

1 month old

Elijah is now a month old. I can't believe it! He has learned a lot so far. He can hold his head up, grab my shirt, focus on my face, respond to noises and is starting to smile. He is such an adorable baby. I love him so much!
