Model home

Here are a few pictures of our potential basement. It may take a few years but we will have to wait. I don't really understand Utah. They sell you a home but they expect you to finish the basement. If you want the builders to finish it will cost 25K. Who has that kind of money? Anyway, I loved the model home so I took some pictures. It reminds me of Valentine's Day. Hope you enjoy!

Our new home

Welcome to our new home. We will start to move in the beginning of November and we are really excited. Please let us know if you will be willing to help us move. Thanks. The new address will be 1497 E Tuscan Oak Way, Sandy UT 84092 so please make a note so you could send us your christmas card. We love Christmas cards! We will soon get a reindeer to put in the front. We will have a whole herd if Adrian had his way. This home is off of 106th and 13th which is close to Jason and Emily's home. We hope you enjoy the pictures.

Here is our living room. The whole house will be done by October 23rd. We chose carpet and tile today!

Here is a picture of our masive kitchen. We have a patio as well. We won't have blinds for awhile so it will be a little awkward. We will get stainless steel appliances and the workers will stain the wood floor.

Dog Chase

Yesterday, I had an encounter with a dog. I was getting ready to drive to work when a dog came by to say hi. I got in my car and backed up. The dog started following me as I drove away. As I waited to turn onto 90th, the dog put his front paws on my front door. I started to drive away so that the dog would get off my car. However, the dog kept following me and even managed to stop traffic. I didn't know what to do. I should've pulled over but I kept going so I wouldn't be late for work. I made sure that the dog was okay by looking in my rear view mirror. The dog walked to the sidewalk and seemed to be fine. It was a very weird experience. I will now watch out for dogs and make sure they are safe before driving away.

House Hunters

It is official! We are house hunters. Last Thursday we looked at our first home with our realtor. I wasn't too impressed with the home. The yard was horrible and the basement needed a lot of work. Also, the home just had a weird feeling to it. I guess the people selling it are in the middle of a divorce. It was located in a beautiful area and had an amazing view but we decided against it. Today, we went with our realtor to look at more homes. I fell in love with the first one which is displayed above. It has an amazing yard which was professionally done and it comes with a hot tub. The sellers were really nice and had two adorable kids. Sicily is an amazing decorator and I just wanted to move right in. We saw a few others and by the end of the day I was shattered. We will continue the search until we find the perfect home. Happy hunting!
